Access from the staircase is separate, so there is lots of privacy. Plenty of light, as the window to the garden is south-facing. The city centre, KUL faculties, and the University Hospital are within walking distance. The fridge is located on the landing to prevent unnecessary noise. There is a shared (new) washing machine on the ground floor of the house. The house holds three studios/apartments, which are all inhabited by academics (postdoc, PhD student).
